Make sure the drain hose is not kinked, twisted or clogged with water at the end of the hose. If the hose was extended, the dryer will not dry well because of the increased resistance, and the manual recommends using only the standard LG drain hose.
Once the hose is undamaged, press the start/pause button to start the dryer. If E13 displays again, the unit will require repair service.
